Control ;of Destiny

I believe there is a power greater than ourselves and our fate is somewhat of our own making, but not entirely. We have the power to make decisions, to determine what is right and wrong but our final path is predetermined. We think we cannot find the strength to do what needs to be done and yet we manage to get through the hardest of times.
Tomorrow Pete will be home, at least for a short while and I will be able to do what I need to do to help him.

  1. I think before time began God knew each one of us and what our life would be like. He is the master of the puzzle we call life. He gave us free will to make choices for ourselves in hopes that we would make them according to the way he taught us to live our lives in the Bible. Sometimes we waiver and make decisions that go along with what we "want" our lives to be like which isn't necessarily what God wants for us. But like a good parent he allows us to test the fires and sometimes we get burnt. The greatest part of all of this is that He is right there with us walking beside us waiting for us to ask for which direction we should go when we meet a fork in the road. If we don't ask, He doesn't stop walking with us but is there just incase we fall. I love the hymn "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms". Knowing God is there to catch us when we fall and to give us the strength we need to get back up and take those next steps is all the strength we need. Hold tight to every memory and know your life has been enriched because God put Peter in yours as a major piece of your puzzle.
